Next steps

Now that you've tried out the basic functions of DMS data, you may want to learn how to:

  • use another type of GS data - Measurements (SPC), Pass/Fail, Rating, Task, or OEE.
  • set up Users and Groups, and assign their Roles (permissions).
  • set Global Settings for real-time failures, statistics, start of day, language, timeout, and other options.
  • set up Parts and Processes.
  • set up Defect Categories to simplify data entry.
  • analyze defect data by cost instead of count.
  • import Parts, Characteristics, Processes, and Data (instead of entering them by hand).
  • customize data entry with an Inspection - including direct entry from files and other sources.
  • customize charts and desktops.
  • use advanced charting tools to identify sources of defects.
